Every suit in the deck follows a particular theme: ghosts for the spades, woodland creatures for the clubs, water monsters for the hearts, and humans bearing light for the diamonds.
Besides the obvious monsters, the deck contains the portraits of the creators of the podcast, Mark Nixon and David Ault; the original deck is available as a limited print from Shadows at the Door website.
